What we collect

When you complete the quote form we collect your name, your email, and optionally your phone number, the destination you are interested in, approximate dates, party size and whatever message you write. We also record which article you arrived from and which language you were reading in, so we know which content is useful.

When you use the contact form we collect your name, email, subject and message.

We never ask for or store card details. If you make a voluntary contribution, the payment is processed by Mercado Pago or Stripe on their own servers and we only receive confirmation that it went through.

What we use it for

Quote form data is used to reply to you and prepare your proposal. To do that it is shared with the travel agent partnered with this site, who prepares and sends the quote. We do not sell or pass your data to any other third party.

Contact messages are used solely to reply to you.

Cookies

We use one first-party technical cookie (pt_poll_session) so that a single browser session cannot vote twice in the same poll. It contains no personal data and no IP address, and it is deleted when you close your browser.

We also store your theme (light or dark) and language preference in your browser's local storage. That information never leaves your device.

Third-party advertising

This site shows advertising from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings (google.com/settings/ads), or for third-party vendors at aboutads.info/choices.

We also publish affiliate links. When you click one, the destination retailer may record the visit using its own cookies in order to attribute a possible purchase. If you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymisation enabled, to understand which articles are read and from which countries. We do not use that data to identify you individually.

How long we keep it

Quote requests are kept for as long as they are needed to serve you, and for a reasonable period afterwards for commercial follow-up. Contact messages are kept for as long as they are useful to the conversation.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what data of yours we hold, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to us from the contact page and we will sort it out.
